The second A400M military transport aircraft supplied by Airbus to Indonesia has arrived in the country after completing a successful flight. With the arrival of this aircraft, all A400M aircraft ordered by Indonesia have been delivered.
Redaksiya reports that in a post made from the official "X" (formerly Twitter) account of Airbus, it was announced that the last of the A400M military transport aircraft ordered by Indonesia has been successfully delivered. The aircraft, which took off after an official ceremony at Airbus's facilities in Seville, completed its intercontinental flight over Canada and Japan and landed at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in East Jakarta.
The arrival of this aircraft in Indonesia is also considered an important step towards enhancing the country's military transport capabilities. A400M aircraft have the capability to transport large volumes of cargo and personnel over long distances, which is of particular importance given Indonesia's geographical location.
