Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem appealed to Arab countries, urging them not to remain silent towards the Palestinian people against the backdrop of the situation in Gaza. He cited Spain's position as an example, stating that Arab states should take a more principled stance.
The editorial office reports that Qassem said in his speech: “Look at Spain, I wish you were like them. But I ask less of you — do not pressure the resistance. If you do not support the resistance or the Palestinian people, at least do not create obstacles for them. Do not allow Israel to benefit from your silence.”
This statement by the Hezbollah leader is regarded as a sharp criticism directed at the passive stance of many Arab countries in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
