During a meeting held in Istanbul within the framework of a ceasefire agreement in Gaza, a Hamas delegation stated that they are adhering to the ceasefire rules and informed MIT head İbrahim Kalın about the violations by the Israeli side. Redaksiya reports that during the meeting, where Turkey's intensive efforts as a guarantor country for the implementation of the ceasefire in Gaza were discussed, steps to be taken to prevent violations committed by Israel were evaluated.
At the meeting, consultations were held between the two delegations on creating the necessary conditions for transitioning to the second phase of the Gaza peace plan and the work to be done to overcome existing problems. During the meeting, where information was provided about the humanitarian aid Turkey has provided to Gaza, joint efforts with regional countries and international organizations to provide more aid, primarily tents, were discussed.
At the meeting, both delegations reaffirmed their agreement on ensuring Palestinian national reconciliation and preserving the goal of establishing an independent Palestinian State.
