Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated that it is impossible to trust Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. According to him, Netanyahu's past actions demonstrate how unreliable he is in matters of peace.
The editorial office reports that Fidan, in his statement, drew attention to the possibility that Israel might try to dictate war in the region again after an agreement. “We all know how Netanyahu behaves in the peace process. The possibility of Israel starting the war again is not excluded,” Fidan emphasized.
The minister's statement reflects the tense atmosphere in the region ahead of the implementation of the US-brokered Gaza peace agreement.
