Məzahir Pənahov, re-elected chairman of the Central Election Commission (MSK), commented on the writings about him.
In a statement to Manset.az, Məzahir Pənahov said that his election as MSK chairman is a great responsibility for him.
"Great trust has been shown again. I will try to live up to this trust. They also write about me. Thank them. I will not say anything to them. What is written makes me even stronger. I will work even better," M. Pənahov added.
Later, the MSK chairman did not answer a journalist's question about the scandal between his son and daughter-in-law.
It should be noted that information had spread that Məzahir Pənahov would not be a candidate for the MSK chairmanship again due to his age.
The 75-year-old M. Pənahov has been the chairman of the Central Election Commission since 2000.
