The Chinese military is currently conducting large-scale live-fire exercises around Taiwan. The Chinese People's Liberation Army has begun large-scale military exercises near Taiwan. The exercises involve live fire and cover five maritime zones and airspace around the island.

According to editorial sources, the maneuvers, named "Just Mission 2025," are taking place in the Taiwan Strait, as well as in the northern, southwest, southeast, and eastern directions of the island. Restrictions on maritime and air traffic have been imposed in these areas for ten hours starting from 8:30 AM local time.

Shi Yi, spokesperson for the Eastern Theater Command of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, stated that the purpose of the exercises is to practice combat patrols, establish full control, and blockade key ports and strategically important areas.

Taiwanese authorities have assessed Beijing's actions as military pressure and a threat to regional stability. According to the Taiwanese military, eleven warships, two aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, and long-range missiles are participating in the exercises.
