The Chinese government has criticized the United States' decision to impose sanctions on Palestine.
The editorial office reports that official Beijing called this step "disappointing" and urged Washington to adopt a fair and balanced stance on the Palestinian issue. A statement from the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted: “We receive the US decision on sanctions against Palestine with deep concern and disappointment. Such approaches could further escalate the situation in the region.”
The Chinese side emphasized the importance of protecting the rights of the Palestinian people, based on international law and UN resolutions. Beijing stated that promoting dialogue and diplomatic solutions between the parties is the only way out.
This statement comes against the backdrop of escalating tensions and the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip in recent months. China had previously stated its support for a two-state solution model on the Palestinian issue.
