US Vice President CD Vance shared his thoughts on unidentified flying objects (UFOs) and the theological aspects of the subject. He noted that he is "sensitive" to the topic but currently lacks the time to investigate these matters due to the "war" he is engaged in. According to Vance, "one of the greatest tricks of the devil is to make people believe he doesn't exist."

The editorial notes that these statements came shortly after US President Donald Trump called on the Pentagon to disclose "everything related to alien and extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), and unidentified flying objects (UFOs)." Just hours after this demand, the mysterious disappearance of approximately 3.8 billion UFO-related files drew attention.

The UFO files were deleted from the main server of The Black Vault, one of the leading archives of declassified CIA projects and documents related to the John F. Kennedy assassination. John Greenewald Jr., the founder of the archive and a ufologist, called the discovery "shocking" on platform X. He stated that hundreds of gigabytes of data, along with thousands of folders, had vanished. Greenewald has managed The Black Vault since 1996, serving as a primary resource for making government-disseminated information about UFOs publicly available.

The timing of the reported data loss is particularly noteworthy, as it occurred just hours after US President Donald Trump demanded full transparency from the Pentagon on the subject. Greenewald spoke cautiously about possible reasons for the data loss, stating that he "cannot rule out the possibility of intentional damage." He also noted that they explained, "they don't understand what happened and from their side, it's a deletion, not a compromise."
