The powers of the State Agency for Mandatory Health Insurance (SA MHI) in the field of mandatory health insurance for the population have been transferred to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population (MLSPP).
The editorial office reports that President Ilham Aliyev has signed a Decree on a number of measures to improve management in the field of mandatory health insurance for the population.
By the Decree, the State Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation Agency under SA MHI and MLSPP has been reorganized through merger, and a public legal entity, the State Medical Insurance and Expertise Agency, has been established under the ministry.
