US President Donald Trump's Gaza plan has already been activated. After the Israeli government approved the plan, a ceasefire regime came into force in Gaza, and the process of exchanging prisoners and hostages with Hamas began. In the next phase, reconstruction work, which is an integral part of the Gaza plan, is planned to commence.
Brotherly Turkey, which played an exceptional role in the declaration of the ceasefire, will participate in the reconstruction work.
As is known, Azerbaijan is acting together with brotherly Turkey in the revival of Syria. Similarly, Azerbaijan rapidly began to rebuild its territories liberated from Armenian occupation, and today life has partially returned there. In 5 years, three international airports, roads, and other infrastructure have been built.
Considering all this, it seems highly probable that Azerbaijan will join the reconstruction efforts in Gaza.
In a statement to Modern.az, MP Arzuxan Alizade said that Azerbaijan will participate in reconstruction work in Gaza together with Turkey:
"Brotherly Turkey also participated in achieving the ceasefire in Gaza. It is already known that Turkey will allocate funds for reconstruction work and participate in the process. Azerbaijan and Turkey are participating in the reconstruction of Syria. Similarly, Azerbaijan's participation in Gaza is not ruled out. Azerbaijan has extensive experience in this field. A great deal of work has been done in Karabakh, liberated from occupation, over 5 years. Three international airports, roads, and other infrastructure have been built. Unprecedented work has been done in a short period. In this process, brotherly Turkic states support and participate in Azerbaijan in various forms. I believe that Azerbaijan will definitely participate in the reconstruction process in Gaza alongside brotherly Turkey."
The MP emphasized that Azerbaijan can also establish an "ASAN xidmət" structure in Gaza:
"The 'ASAN xidmət' model, which is an Azerbaijani model, has already been implemented in several countries. Azerbaijani experience has been used in neighboring, post-Soviet, and developing countries. There is no doubt that Azerbaijan will also contribute to the processes in Gaza."
