Anti-Doping Cooperation Expands Between Azerbaijan and Lithuania

An international conference dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Lithuanian Anti-Doping Agency (LTUNADO) was held in Vilnius. Our country was represented at the event by Tahmina Taghi-zade, Executive Director of the Azerbaijan National Anti-Doping Agency (AMADA).

At the conference, discussions were held on the development and cooperation prospects of anti-doping organizations, organizational transformation based on the Adizes methodology, and the connection of sports organizations with the gaming industry.

Within the framework of the conference, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between AMADA and LTUNADO. The Memorandum was signed by Tahmina Taghi-zade, Executive Director of AMADA, and Ruta Banyte, Director of LTUNADO.

Within the framework of the Memorandum, both agencies will promote the deepening of cooperation in the field of anti-doping, the strengthening of scientific research and educational initiatives, as well as the implementation of innovative approaches and the exchange of practical knowledge. The cooperation will cover areas such as results management, testing, education, investigations, therapeutic use exemptions, and others, and will contribute to the further improvement of activities in accordance with the World Anti-Doping Code and International Standards.
