The European Central Bank (ECB) has announced the creation of two dedicated working groups to advance the digital euro project. This step is part of the efforts to create an attractive and functional digital currency in the eurozone. The ECB places particular importance on collaboration with private sector experts in this process.

The newly established G5 and B1 working groups will conduct in-depth research on the technical and operational aspects of the digital euro. The activities of these groups are aimed at ensuring the security, reliability, and user-friendliness of the digital euro. The ECB also plans to cooperate closely with international partners for the successful implementation of this project.
