The Director of US National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, has refuted claims published by Reuters alleging that Russia plans to seize all of Ukraine, as well as parts of Europe. She stated that this information does not reflect reality and creates a false impression.

The editorial reports that Tulsi Gabbard emphasized in a post on the social network X that such claims are deliberately circulated with the aim of hindering US President Donald Trump's peace initiatives and creating fear and hysteria in society. According to her, this approach serves to shape support for the escalation of war.

Gabbard noted that based on the current information of US intelligence, Russia is trying to avoid a large-scale war with NATO. This information was presented to American politicians in advance and confirmed by the relevant agencies.

She further stated that Congressman Mike Quigley, a representative of the Democratic Party, who was quoted in the Reuters material, was also informed of the intelligence data. In Gabbard's opinion, despite this, the claims circulating in the media create a depiction of a threat that is not consistent with reality.
