Citizens' appeals are kept in focus in Ordubad
To ensure citizen satisfaction, solve existing problems, and listen to the suggestions of the local population, a mobile reception was held in Azadkand on October 10 by Rajab Rahimli, Head of Ordubad District Executive Power. In addition to residents of Aza and Darkand, residents of Azadkand, responsible employees of the Executive Power, heads of district departments, enterprises, and organizations, executive representatives, and the mayor participated in the meeting.
First, the memory of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Azerbaijan was honored with a minute of silence.
The Head of the District Executive Power, speaking at the beginning of the reception, spoke about the importance of the glorious Victory achieved as a result of the 44-day Patriotic War and stated that the heroism of our martyrs and veterans, as well as the leadership factor and far-sighted policy of Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, played a special role in achieving this victory. Thanks to the resolute leadership of President Ilham Aliyev and the might of the Azerbaijani Army, the territorial integrity of our country has been ensured, and our lands that had been under occupation for many years have been liberated. Currently, large-scale reconstruction and restoration work is being carried out in Karabakh and East Zangazur, and the safe return of internally displaced persons to their native lands is being implemented. This success is both a result of the people-state-army unity and a key indicator of Azerbaijan's strengthening position in the international arena.
At the meeting, Rajab Rahimli also spoke about the socio-economic and historical-cultural projects being implemented in Ordubad district. He stated that significant steps are being taken towards the reconstruction of urban and rural roads in Ordubad, the creation of small and medium-sized business entities covering various sectors within the framework of the ABAD (Easy Support for Family Business) project, and major repair work is currently being carried out in the historical building of “Arbab's Workplace”.
Afterwards, the appeals of the village residents were heard. The main appeals were related to increasing employment opportunities, property rights, solving drinking and irrigation water problems, replacement of electrical wires, conversion of underground gas lines to an above-ground network, and carrying out vaccinations and preventive measures related to animal husbandry.
Instructions were given to the relevant institutions for the resolution of the raised issues, while appeals requiring time were taken under control.
Residents expressed their gratitude to the country's leadership for the attention and care shown.
