Reporting from the editorial office, Delcy Rodríguez called for calm and unity in her address to the nation, stating that the government operating in the country exists. According to her, Venezuela is ready for any challenge and will not allow military intervention.
The Vice President noted that the Venezuelan people have resisted all attacks so far and will continue on this path. She specifically emphasized that the country's sovereignty and security will be protected with all might.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump claimed in a statement that Delcy Rodríguez used the phrase "we will do what is necessary," indicating that the Venezuelan leadership has no other choice.
