Commander of the Ugandan army, Dalyarak Kainerugaba, made harsh statements regarding Turkey. Although he emphasized that he does not want a conflict with Turkey, he stated that they have no chance of survival against Uganda. The commander also demanded that Turkey hand over its "women" (?).

The editorial office reports that Commander Kainerugaba also declared his readiness to mobilize 100,000 Ugandan soldiers in Israel. Uganda's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ayebare, stated that these tweets reflect Uganda's dissatisfaction with how its serious concerns are being addressed.

Ayebare noted that Uganda highly values its partnership with its Turkish friends, but this should not come at the expense of the country's sovereignty. He added that Uganda looks forward to engaging in good-faith discussions to address its concerns. The representative expressed confidence that Commander Kainerugaba also supports this position.
