Ukrainian intelligence forces have neutralized a Kilo-class submarine belonging to the Russian Navy as a result of a special operation carried out in the port of Novorossiysk. This incident has been recorded as the first sinking of a Russian submarine in the country's military operations history.
The editorial reports that underwater combat drones named “Sub Sea Baby” were used during the operation, and the submarine, carrying four Kalibr missiles, sustained significant damage as a result of the attack. The identification of the target and the precision of the strike demonstrate the expansion of Ukrainian intelligence's technological capabilities.
The incident not only indicates a shift in the military balance in the region but also increases pressure on the Russian Navy's operational capabilities in the Black Sea. Analysts state that this operation could have significant consequences for regional security and future naval operations.
