Battalion commander of the 28th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant Colonel Vyacheslav Lutsenko, was eliminated in the special operation zone, in the Konstantinovsky direction. This was reported by Russian law enforcement agencies.
Redaksiya reports that according to news spread in the Russian press, Lutsenko was the battalion commander of the 28th separate mechanized brigade sent from Kyiv. His colleagues disseminated this information on social networks. According to the source, Lutsenko was likely eliminated in the Konstantinovsky direction, located in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).
In addition, according to EADaily, a Russian strike drone "Geranium" destroyed a Ukrainian Mi-24 military helicopter, and the helicopter's crew perished. The crew commander was military pilot Oleksandr Shemet, a Hero of Ukraine.
