Brawl Erupts in Turkish Parliament After Budget Law Adoption

Serious tension erupted in the plenary session of the Turkish parliament after the adoption of the Budget Law Proposal for the year twenty twenty-six with three hundred and twenty votes. Immediately after the approval of the bill, an argument broke out among the deputies.

The news agency reports that the tension quickly escalated into a physical confrontation, and a fistfight broke out in the session hall. During the confrontation, a number of deputies stood up from their seats and gathered in the middle of the hall.

As a result of the incident, the normal proceedings of the session were disrupted, and order had to be temporarily restored in the parliament. No further official statement has been released regarding the incident.
