Medical Campaign and Scientific-Practical Conference Held in Saatli - PHOTOS

A mobile humanitarian medical campaign was held in the territory of Shirinbeyli village, Saatli district, with the support of TƏBİB and at the initiative of the Women's Council of the Western Azerbaijan Community.

During the campaign, medical services were provided to the population by specialist doctors of various fields, especially to citizens deported from Western Azerbaijan and settled here. Additionally, citizens were given recommendations regarding various diseases, and residents diagnosed with illnesses were referred to specialized medical institutions.

Subsequently, a conference dedicated to the life and activities of the prominent ophthalmologist-scientist Zarifa Aliyeva was held in Saatli district.

Before the conference, participants visited the monument of National Leader Heydar Aliyev erected in Saatli district, laid wreaths at the monument, and respectfully commemorated the dear memory of the National Leader.

The conference was attended by Elmir Baghirov, Head of Saatli District Executive Power; Anar Israfilov, Deputy Executive Director of TƏBİB; Aziz Alakbarli, Chairman of the Board of the Western Azerbaijan Community and Member of the Milli Majlis; Professor Hikmat Mammadov, Deputy Chairman of the Community and Member of the Milli Majlis; Malahat Ibrahimqizi, Chairwoman of the Women's Council of the Western Azerbaijan Community and Member of Parliament; Pasha Galbinur, Professor at Azerbaijan Medical University; and Telli Panahqizi, Head of “Western Azerbaijan Television.”

Within the framework of the conference, a short video titled “Zarifa Aliyeva: A Life Path as an Example for Generations” was screened.

At the scientific-practical conference moderated by M. Ibrahimqizi, speakers delivered presentations on the topics “Zarifa Aliyeva: A Life Path as an Example for Generations,” “Zarifa Aliyeva's Legacy in the History of Azerbaijani Healthcare,” “A Bright Representative of Iravan's Noble Lineage,” and “Zarifa Aliyeva: A Phenomenal Azerbaijani Woman.”
