Russian President Vladimir Putin reacted to US President Donald Trump's latest statement.
It is reported that a few days ago, Trump had expressed his disappointment regarding the Russian leader, saying, “Putin disappointed me.” In response to this, Vladimir Putin said: “All disappointments arise from excessive expectations.”
Putin's statement is regarded as a direct hint at Trump's remarks.
It is worth noting that since the beginning of his presidency, Trump had tried to establish more constructive relations with Putin, but had repeatedly admitted that he could not achieve the results he expected in some areas.
