As reported, by the Order of President Ilham Aliyev, Yashar Allahgulu oglu Amashov has been appointed First Deputy Head of the State Service for Special Communication and Information Security.
By another Order of the Head of State, Yashar Amashov was awarded the highest military rank of Major General.
Prior to this appointment, Yashar Amashov served as Deputy Head of the Milli Majlis Apparatus.

Yashar Allahgulu oglu Amashov was born on November 3, 1976, in Jalilabad district.
He studied at the Faculty of Mathematics of Baku State University from 1993–1997, and at the Faculty of International Law from 2004–2008.
From 1997-1998, he worked as a teacher in a secondary school in Jalilabad.
From 1998–2000, he served in active military service as an officer in the Armed Forces.
From 2000–2004, he worked as an advisor to the Milli Majlis Apparatus, as a senior advisor from 2004–2006, as a chief advisor from 2006–2007, as a sector head from 2007–2008, and as deputy head of department from 2008–2018.
From 2018–2019, he served as chief advisor to the Department of Innovative Development and E-Government Issues, and later to the Department of Economic Affairs and Innovative Development Policy of the Presidential Administration.
From 2019–2020, he worked as the head of the Sector for Relations with the Milli Majlis within the Department for Relations with Political Parties and Legislative Authority of the Presidential Administration.
In May 2020, within the framework of structural reforms carried out in the Milli Majlis, Yashar Amashov was appointed to the newly created position of Deputy Head of the Apparatus.
He is engaged in scientific and pedagogical activities in the field of information security and is the author of many scientific articles in this field.
By the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated June 22, 2022, he was awarded the "For Distinction in Public Service" medal.
He is a 3rd degree state advisor.
He knows Azerbaijani, English, and Russian languages.
He is married and has three children.
