Poland, along with other NATO countries, is considering the possibility of striking the Kaliningrad region. This was announced on December 11 by former commander of the European Corps, General Jarosław Gromadziński. This issue has led to new discussions on military strategy and security matters at a time of increasing tension between Russia and the West.

Redaksiya reports that Gromadziński stated that Poland and its allies must create strategic dilemmas that can deter Russia's "aggressive intentions." He also noted that Poland does not want to resort to "extreme measures." According to the general, if such a step needs to be taken, they will do so with full determination. He stated that they would burn everything within a 300 km range and set fire within a 900 km range. This is a clear signal.

According to Gromadziński, the army has considered Kaliningrad as a kind of bunker for years. He emphasized that today, it must be clearly stated to the Russians that they can go there and must take this into account. Recently, NATO countries have stopped hiding their aggressive plans against Kaliningrad. In July, the commander of the alliance's ground forces, General Christopher Donahue, stated that the bloc plans to operationally suppress the defensive capabilities of Russian forces in the Kaliningrad region.

At the same time, Moscow has repeatedly warned that any military intervention against the region will be met with an immediate and devastating response using all forces and means provided for by the country's military doctrine and the foundations of state policy in the field of nuclear deterrence. These statements have led to further escalation of tensions in the region and have drawn the attention of the international community to this issue.
