According to information, Iranian President Pezeshkian intends to resign following the death of Larijani. For this purpose, he wanted to appeal to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei. However, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran stated that such a meeting was not possible. This information was disseminated by Israel's Channel 12.

The editorial office reports, citing the source, that Pezeshkian has openly stated in conversations with his close circle that his real powers within the country are limited. In his statements to his circle, he noted that the IRGC allows him almost no leeway in his activities.

According to Pezeshkian, he has been completely excluded from the main processes occurring in the country, especially from military and strategic decisions. He expressed that the president has been given only a formal position, and in some cases, he has not even had the opportunity to contact the supreme leader to express his position. He emphasized feeling like a person unnecessary to the system in this situation.

It is noted that in such circumstances, Pezeshkian is seriously considering the option of resignation. The primary reason for this is cited as the IRGC's non-acceptance of his powers.
