The 'ASAN xidmət' concept will be implemented in Pakistan

On September 8-10, a delegation led by Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, visited Islamabad at the invitation of the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

Within the framework of the visit, Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, received the delegation led by Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency, and held a meeting of the Pakistani Government regarding the establishment of an 'ASAN xidmət' center.
During the meeting, a presentation of the 'ASAN xidmət' concept to be established in Pakistan took place.

The Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan stated that the 'ASAN xidmət' center, established on the initiative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, made a strong impression on him, and that a similar concept would be a revolutionary step in improving the provision of public services in Pakistan. The Prime Minister noted that the 'ASAN xidmət' initiative would also advance the Pakistani Government's 'cashless economy' policy and would be implemented in other cities and provinces after the capital Islamabad.

Expressing gratitude to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan for the support to be provided in the process of establishing an 'ASAN xidmət' center in Pakistan, the Prime Minister stated that the relevant project would further strengthen economic cooperation between the two countries.

After the meeting, an 'Agreement on Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on the Implementation of the 'ASAN xidmət' Experience in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan' was signed with the participation of Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.
Within the framework of the implementation of the Agreement, the 'ASAN xidmət' center is expected to commence operations in Pakistan in a short period.

Within the framework of the visit program, a meeting was held between the Chairman of the State Agency and the Minister of Information Technology and Telecommunication of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Additionally, the building infrastructure where the 'ASAN xidmət' center is planned to operate was inspected.
During the visit to Pakistan, the Chairman of the State Agency visited the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and laid wreaths at the monument of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Khazar Farhadov, also participated in the events and meetings held during the visit.
