Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has instructed the army to launch powerful strikes against Hezbollah targets after rockets and drones were launched from Lebanon into northern Israel. Ynet News reported this.

Citing Ynet, the editorial office reports that, according to information, two rockets were fired from Lebanon on Saturday towards Manara, Margaliot, and Misgav Am in northern Galilee. One of the rockets fell in an open area, while the other was intercepted by the Israeli air defense system. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

The Israeli army described the attack as a “gross violation” of the ceasefire. Approximately an hour later, warning sirens regarding a drone threat were activated in the communities of Hanita, Yaara, and Rosh Hanikra in Western Galilee. According to the army, two aerial vehicles entered Israeli territory; one was shot down, and contact with the other was lost.

According to Ynet, the Israeli army reported that six Hezbollah members were killed in southern Lebanon on Saturday. The military announced that a total of 15 Hezbollah members were killed over the weekend.

The Israeli army also stated that it struck buildings belonging to Hezbollah, including its Radwan forces, and a weapons depot. During the night, rocket launchers were reportedly hit in the areas of Deir ez-Zahrani, Kfar Rumman, and as-Samiyah. The WSJ also reported that the Israeli army considered these launchers a direct threat to Israeli soldiers and civilians.

Despite a three-week extension of the ceasefire, local leaders in northern Israel criticized the ongoing attacks. Asaf Langlaban, head of the Upper Galilee Regional Council, stated that residents should safely return to normal life and that the government is responsible for eliminating the rocket threat.
