A resident of Russia's Moscow region sustained a serious larynx injury as a result of "sneezing inwards." Due to the pain, the person was immediately hospitalized.
The editorial office reports that in the hospital, he stated he had sneezed by pinching his nose with his fingers. Immediately after this action, he heard a cracking sound in his throat, followed by swelling in his neck and cheeks.
Medical staff, following examinations, diagnosed the man with a fracture of the laryngeal cartilage and emphysema. His condition is currently stable, and treatment is ongoing.
