The editorial team reports that Microsoft has not yet released its traditional year-end review for Xbox, and according to Windows Central sources, the Xbox Wrapped feature will not be launched in December. The reason is budget: resources have been directed towards preparations for 2026, the year that will mark the 25th anniversary of Xbox, the 25th anniversary of Halo, and the 40th anniversary of Bethesda.
Competitors—Sony, Valve, and Nintendo—have not abandoned this initiative, leading to a continued loss of trust for Microsoft. The irony is that a large budget is not needed for year-end reviews; the True Achievements portal has already prepared its own version of Xbox Wrapped.
