Media Development Agency: Artificial intelligence and digitalization significantly impact media activities
When a journalist writes on a specific topic, they must know the terminology of that field, its main actors, experts, and the authorities of the relevant state bodies.
This allows for a correct understanding of the essence of problems and professional analysis of citizen appeals.
According to İqtisadiyyat.az, these were the remarks made by Natiq Mammadli, Deputy Executive Director of the Media Development Agency, during his speech at “A to Z Internet: Practical Training for Media.”
He stated that the Media Development Agency has been implementing programs to improve media literacy in society for 5 years, and thousands of people have been involved in these initiatives.
N. Mammadli emphasized that in a situation where the risks of disinformation are increasing, strengthening citizens' ability to evaluate the accuracy of news is a priority: “Artificial intelligence and digitalization are having a significant impact on media activities, and verifying information reliability is becoming even more important for journalists.”
