Venezuelan opposition leader and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Maria Corina Machado has made sharp statements regarding the country's current authorities. She declared Vice President Delcy Rodríguez untrustworthy, emphasizing that the essence of the ruling regime is well-known to society.
The editorial reports that Maria Corina Machado stated in her speech, “Nobody trusts Delcy Rodríguez. Everyone knows what this regime is, we are talking about criminals.” According to her, the current political administration in Venezuela has lost its legal and moral legitimacy.
The opposition leader also noted that the country possesses vast natural and economic resources. She stated that Venezuela intends to use these resources effectively and desires American companies to invest in the country.
Maria Corina Machado's statements were made against the backdrop of Venezuela's ongoing political crisis, international isolation, and economic difficulties, once again bringing to the forefront the opposition's desire to rebuild the country's future through foreign investment.
