Although the tax exemption applied to individuals working in the private sector will be abolished after 7 years, no change is expected in the amount withheld for DSMF deductions.
According to information obtained by Qafqazinfo, this is reflected in the draft law "On the State Budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026".
Currently, in Azerbaijan, when the salary is between 200 manats and 8000 manats: 6 manats + 10% DSMF deductions are withheld. In addition, employees pay 0.5% for unemployment insurance and 2% for compulsory medical insurance.
Since there will be no change in the social insurance contribution rate, the same DSMF deductions will be paid next year.
It should be noted that, starting next year, individuals working in the private sector will also pay an additional 3% income tax.
