The apparel sector is rapidly changing with digitalization trends, and companies operating in this field are investing in new technologies to better respond to customer demands and increase operational efficiency. This transformation allows for the optimization of processes from design to store, as well as more effective management of production and supply chains. These changes help companies gain a stronger position in market competition and increase customer satisfaction.
Redaksiya reports that LC Waikiki is undertaking a broad digital transformation process in its design, production, and supply processes through technological investments exceeding $20 million in recent years and artificial intelligence-based applications. Within the scope of these efforts, the company has reduced the period from design to store to as little as six weeks, managing its operations through a system controlled by a digital infrastructure. This structure, consisting of various layers such as data centers, cloud infrastructure, and AI-supported inventory management, ensures that many processes from design to the supply chain are tracked and managed digitally. LC Waikiki integrates customer feedback and sales data into its product development processes by analyzing them simultaneously.
As part of the technological investments made by LC Waikiki, a data center was commissioned at the head office building in Bağcılar with a budget of approximately $4 million. With an investment of approximately $2 million for the relocation of the emergency center in Ankara to a new building, business continuity and data security processes were renewed. LC Waikiki also implemented a cloud-based platform to manage its e-commerce operations in 21 countries from a single center. These steps enable the company to increase its operational efficiency, respond more quickly to customer demands, and gain a stronger position in the global market. This strategy further solidifies LC Waikiki's leadership in digital transformation within the apparel sector.
