Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov has announced that he will give away ten iPhone 17s among those who support the "Grozny City" project in the voting for symbols to be placed on the new 500 ruble banknote.
The editorial office reports that the purpose of the voting organized by the Central Bank of Russia is to determine the symbol to be placed on the reverse side of the banknote. "Grozny City" is currently leading with 694,731 votes, but Mount Elbrus is in second place with a difference of several thousand votes.
Kadyrov's initiative has generated wide resonance on social networks. He called on voters to actively participate in the voting, stating that "Grozny City," as a modern symbol of Chechnya, deserves to be featured on the country's new banknote.
