The organizers of international exhibitions in Azerbaijan, "Iteca Caspian" and "Caspian Event Organisers" companies, have successfully concluded the 2025 exhibition season.

During this year, 13 international exhibitions and 2 forums covering various sectors were organized in Baku. These events have become important platforms contributing to the development of Azerbaijan's economy, particularly the expansion of the non-oil sector, in areas such as food industry, agriculture, healthcare, water management, construction, transport, and others.

As in previous years, the international exhibitions held in 2025 were also surrounded by the attention and care of the country's leadership. Mr. Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, visited large-scale events organized in Baku in 2025, such as "Caspian Agro" and "InterFood Azerbaijan", "Baku Energy Week", met with participants and familiarized himself with the exhibition displays. Additionally, the head of state emphasized the importance of this event in the process of restoration and reconstruction of Karabakh in a letter addressed to the participants of the Caspian Construction Week.

All these exhibitions were held with the support of relevant state bodies and responsible structures in their respective fields. This is an indicator of the special attention paid to exhibition activities at the state level and the importance given to the development of the non-oil sector.

In one of his recent speeches, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, specifically emphasized the role of the non-oil sector as the driving force of the country's economy.

"Today, the leading driving force of our economy is the non-oil sector. This constitutes the majority of our overall economy," Mr. President noted.

These very ideas determined the main idea and purpose of the exhibitions held in 2025. The words of the head of state were widely reflected in the themes and directions of the exhibitions held this year. International exhibitions served to increase the share of the non-oil sector in Azerbaijan's economy and strengthen international cooperation in this field.

Thanks to these events, numerous foreign companies and investors representing the non-oil industry were attracted to the country. They presented their innovations, advanced technologies, and experiences within the framework of the exhibitions, thereby stimulating the creation of new partnerships and production enterprises in the local market.

The international exhibitions held in Baku in 2025 hosted over 45,000 professional visitors from more than 70 countries. A total of nearly 9,000 foreign guests visited Azerbaijan for the purpose of participating in and visiting these exhibitions. The exhibitions brought together up to 1,200 companies from over 60 countries, more than 700 of which were foreign exhibitors. Various countries participated in a broader composition in the held exhibitions, represented by national pavilions. This year, a total of 17 countries participated in the exhibition in the form of national pavilions. Within the framework of the events, nearly 300 speakers delivered presentations in up to 70 panel sessions, and over 700 business-to-business (B2B) meetings took place. Additionally, 13 startup projects participated within the "Baku Energy Week".

These indicators emphasize the importance of the exhibitions both in terms of participants and geography, and confirm the growing interest of international business in the Azerbaijani market.

All exhibitions were carried out with the support of state bodies. The results obtained reflect the strengthening of Azerbaijan's position as a leading exhibition center in the region, as well as the significant support and contribution given to the development of the country's economy, particularly the non-oil sector.

The 2025 exhibition season once again demonstrated that international exhibitions held in Baku significantly support the country's overall economic growth by promoting sustainable economic development, expanding the investment environment, and strengthening the non-oil sector.
