Israeli ground forces have entered southern Lebanon.
The editorial reports, citing the Israeli press, that the press service of the country's Defense Forces released information about this.
Speaking on the matter, Defense Minister Israel Katz stated that the advance of ground forces in southern Lebanon aims to prevent direct fire on Israeli settlements:
“Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and I have authorized the Israel Defense Forces to advance in Lebanon, capture additional dominant areas, and also defend border settlements from there.”
He noted that the operation against Hezbollah was carried out successfully and that the terrorist organization would see the heavy consequences of striking Israel.
