Iran's Deputy Defense Minister Reza Talaei Nik stated that the United States has lost its power to unilaterally direct the international system.

The editorial office, citing GDH, reports that Talaei Nik made these remarks in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, where he traveled for the meeting of defense ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

In his statement, the Iranian official sharply criticized Washington's policy regarding Tehran. According to him, the US is no longer in a position to dictate its political will to other countries.

Talaei Nik stated that Washington will be forced to withdraw its “illegal and illogical demands.” He called the US and Israel “symbols of state terrorism” and said that this policy threatens regional as well as global stability.

Iran's Deputy Defense Minister also emphasized that his country continues to strengthen its military and defense capabilities. According to him, Iran is increasing its domestic defense potential to meet the needs of its armed forces.

Talaei Nik also stated that Iran is open to cooperation in the defense sector with member countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and “independent states.” He said that Tehran is ready to share its military and defense capabilities with partner countries.

Within the framework of his visit to Bishkek, Talaei Nik held separate meetings with the defense ministers of Russia, Pakistan, and Belarus. The Iranian side considers these meetings important for strengthening regional security and defense cooperation.

The statements coincide with a period of high tension between the US and Iran. Tehran accuses Washington of a policy of pressure and sanctions, while the US accuses Iran of destabilizing regional stability.
