The editorial office, citing "Sputnik Armenia," reports that Areq Koçinyan, a member of a group of Armenian civil society representatives, said this during a press conference dedicated to his visit to Baku.
"Hikmət Hacıyev asked us to convey several messages to Armenian society. For Baku, the conflict is over; Azerbaijanis want to transition from the current 'non-war' situation to peace, and establish comprehensive and long-term peace with Armenia," Koçinyan said, speaking about the details of his meeting with Hikmət Hacıyev.
According to him, Hacıyev also reiterated that Azerbaijan has no territorial claims against Armenia.
It should be recalled that on November 21-22, 2025, a group of Armenian civil society representatives visited Azerbaijan within the framework of the "Peace Bridge" Initiative. During the visit, members of the "Peace Bridge" Initiative met with Hikmət Hacıyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan – Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration.
