In the first quarter of this year, consumers in Azerbaijan spent 955.4 million manats on automobile gasoline and diesel fuel alone within the retail trade network.

According to the information, the indicator recorded during the reporting period exceeded the indicator of the corresponding period of 2025 by 5.7%.
It should be noted that oil in Azerbaijan is refined at the Heydar Aliyev Baku Oil Refinery, the foundation of which was laid in 1953. The plant fully meets the republic's demand for petroleum products. Currently, reconstruction and modernization works are being carried out at the refinery.
