It is claimed that restrictions have been placed on taxi orders from Heydar Aliyev International Airport towards the city.
This claim has spread on social networks.
It is reported that a warning has been sent to "Uber", "Bolt" and other drivers who accept orders via apps. It was noted that while taxi orders to the airport will be possible from today, orders from the airport to the city will not be accepted. The information also added that there will be no orders from the company either.
Some taxi drivers told "Khazar News" that they have not been taking orders from the airport since hearing this information. They believe that the reason for such a decision might be to give preference to the "London taxis" at the airport.
However, some taxi drivers stated that they had not been informed about any restrictions on orders from the airport.
Regarding the issue, "Bolt" stated that they will present their official information to the public within the week. "Uber" announced that they cannot comment on this matter for now. Heydar Aliyev International Airport noted that work is currently underway to improve taxi services at the airport with the aim of further enhancing passenger comfort and service levels. No restrictions are being applied to the entry and exit of taxis to the airport area: "As developments related to the planned work occur, the public will be officially informed."
