The US-developed "Golden Dome" missile defense system is reportedly expected to have difficulty detecting Russia's tested "Burevestnik" cruise missile. The Wall Street Journal writes that "Burevestnik"'s low-altitude flight makes its detection difficult.

The editorial, citing The Wall Street Journal, reports that although information on the missile's speed and maneuverability has not been provided, these factors are likely to increase its ability to evade defense systems. The article notes that modern missile defense systems can only detect launches using space-based surveillance.

It should be recalled that on October 21, Russia successfully conducted the final tests of its intercontinental cruise missile called "Burevestnik". President Vladimir Putin stated that the weapon is nuclear-powered and has no analogues in the world. German MP Gunnar Lindemann, meanwhile, emphasized that this test caused concern in the West and demonstrated Russia's high combat capability.
