The list of individuals who paid the highest amount of tax in the country last year has been announced. Selçuk Bayraktar, the technical director of “Baykar” company, ranked first.
The editorial office reports that Selçuk Bayraktar is in first place, having paid 2 billion 767 million 587 thousand 718 Turkish Liras in tax. He is followed by his brother, Haluk Bayraktar, CEO of “Baykar,” who transferred 2 billion 528 million 619 thousand 921 Liras to the state budget.
An unnamed person is in third place on the list. Businessman Rahmi Koç is in fourth place with a payment of 757 million 755 thousand 302 Liras.
Thus, among the tax record-holders for 2024, businessmen operating primarily in the industrial and defense sectors predominated.
