Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar stated that significant steps are being taken in Turkey's energy sector. The work done to strengthen the country's energy supply and increase the use of renewable energy sources is noteworthy. Recent developments in this area once again confirm that this is one of the main priorities of Turkey's energy policy.

Redaksiya reports that Minister Bayraktar announced that tenders will be held in November and December for the allocation of a total of 2,000 megawatts of YEKA (Renewable Energy Resource Areas) potential. Within the framework of these tenders, projects in the field of 1150 megawatts of wind and 850 megawatts of solar energy will be implemented. This step is an important move towards achieving Turkey's strategic goals regarding the use of renewable energy sources.

The Minister emphasized that these tenders will contribute to the diversification of the country's energy supply and the enhancement of energy security. At the same time, these projects will also have a positive impact on the development of the local economy, the creation of new jobs, and technological advancement. The Turkish government continues to support investments in the renewable energy sector and fully realize its potential in this area.
