Former US President Barack Obama has commented on the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
The editorial office reports that Obama stated in his remarks that preventing the delivery of food and water to civilians is unacceptable:
“Aid must be allowed to reach people in Gaza. There is no justifiable reason for the basic needs of the civilian population, such as food and water, not to be met,” he emphasized.
Obama had previously noted that the situation in Gaza had reached the level of a humanitarian catastrophe and called on the international community to protect civilians.
