On August 16 and 17, the next "From Village to City" fair will be held in the capital, organized by "Agrarian Procurement and Supply" OJSC, operating under the Ministry of Agriculture. This traditionally organized fair aims to both expand the sales opportunities for local farmers and provide city residents with healthy and natural products.
Approximately 30 farmers from about 20 districts across various regions of the country will participate in the event. Farmers will directly offer city residents nearly 90 varieties of agricultural and food products.
The Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency will monitor the safety and quality of the products. Buyers with any questions can approach the Mobile Food Laboratory operating in the area and have the products analyzed on the spot.
The fair will operate from 09:00 to 19:00, over two days, at Fətəli xan Xoyski Street 5, Narimanov district (near "Gənclik" metro station).
It should be noted that participating farmers are provided with stalls, scales, and other essential equipment free of charge.
