International Training on Domain Name System Security Held in Baku

International practical training on “Domain Name System Security Extensions” (DNSSEC) is being held with the organization of the Information Communication Technologies Agency.

This was reported by the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport (MDDT).

It was noted that experts from the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) and the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) are also participating in the three-day training.

The program is aimed at increasing practical knowledge and skills in the field of domain name system security.

Theoretical and practical sessions are organized on DNSSEC signing and validation, key management, troubleshooting and monitoring, and other important areas.

The main objectives of the training are to strengthen the security of the country's national domain infrastructure, apply international practices in the management of the .az domain space, increase the resilience of services, and enhance the level of cybersecurity.

This initiative is of particular importance for strengthening Azerbaijan's digital sovereignty, protecting critical internet infrastructure, and creating a safer digital environment for users.

The Agency continues its activities in the framework of cooperation with international partners in the areas of internet governance, domain name security, and the sustainable development of national internet resources.
