Baku Metro CJSC has reduced the train interval on the "Purple" line to 5 minutes for the first time, with the aim of meeting passenger demand and increasing satisfaction.

The joint-stock company informed Redaksiya about this.

It was stated that as a result of the implementation of digital solutions, technical regulation, and optimization works, traffic intensity has been increased, and an additional train has been launched on the line. Consequently, the interval on the "Avtovağzal–Xocəsən" section has been reduced from 16 minutes to 10 minutes, and on the "Avtovağzal–8 Noyabr" section, it has been reduced from 8 minutes to 5 minutes.

This step is intended for more flexible management of passenger flow and simultaneously for improving the overall quality of service.

The implementation of technical and organizational measures aimed at ensuring passenger comfort in Baku Metro will continue henceforth.
