In the first half of this year, the amount saved for the state budget as a result of tender-based procurements increased by 38.6% compared to the same period last year, reaching 329 million manats.
The editorial office reports that the State Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control Agency under the President released information regarding this.
"The amount of savings, being one of the main indicators of financial efficiency and competitiveness in the field of public procurements, is formed by the difference between the estimated prices for approved tender-based procurements and the prices offered by the winning suppliers in those procurements," the statement noted.
