A one-on-one meeting between President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan and President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan took place in Tashkent on November 15.
The editorial office reports that during the meeting, it was stated that relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, based on alliance and strategic partnership, are successfully developing.
The role of President Ilham Aliyev's regular visits to Uzbekistan and President Shavkat Mirziyoyev's regular visits to Azerbaijan in the development of relations was emphasized.
It was noted with satisfaction that cooperation between Azerbaijan and Central Asian countries has expanded further recently, and in this regard, the importance of the head of state's participation in the 7th Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia was highlighted.
During the conversation, the heads of state exchanged views on the prospects of relations between the two countries.
