“During this visit, Azerbaijan provided five passenger buses to Ukraine as humanitarian aid for the needs of our communities.”
Ukraine's Deputy Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha shared this on his social media account.
“Since 2022, Azerbaijan has repeatedly contributed to supporting the people of Ukraine. In particular, it has provided over $45 million in humanitarian aid, including high-capacity generators, transformers, and essential equipment that help our energy system operate under constant attacks.
Support for our children is equally important. More than 500 Ukrainian children have participated in rehabilitation programs in Azerbaijan – this is particularly valuable during wartime.
We deeply appreciate this solidarity, as it helps Ukraine stand firm and move forward,” the minister stated.
