The Azerbaijan Food Safety Institute (AQTİ) continues its activities towards the formation of young specialists and the training of professional personnel in the field of food safety by constantly collaborating closely with various higher education institutions.
Thus, within the framework of the memorandum signed between AQTİ and Azerbaijan Medical University (ATU), third and fifth-year students of ATU's Faculty of Public Health conduct practical training sessions on the topic of “Sanitary-Hygienic Expertise of Food Products” in laboratories operating under AQTİ at specified times.
Students are provided with extensive information about AQTİ's activities and the work carried out in the field of food safety in our country. In accordance with the topics covered, various examinations are demonstrated by specialists in the laboratory, and conditions are created for students' personal participation in practical sessions, which allows for further strengthening of the theoretical and practical knowledge gained.
The conditions created for students to familiarize themselves with modern international methods and equipment within the internship program, along with the conduct of lessons in a visual, question-and-answer, and discussion format, further increases their interest in the lessons.
